How to Root Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570? Tutorial

Rooting Samsung Galaxy POP/Mini GT-S5570 is very simple you just have to follow this simple steps. And your phone will be rooted in 5 minutes.

Once you have rooted your device, you can install the Best Rom For Mini/Pop by reading this post  Which is the Best Rom for Galaxy POP/Mini GT-S5570?

Warning: Rooting your phone voids its warranty. And, this post will not work for phone with Baseband version is DDKC1 (see in Settings -> About Phone).

Before starting the root please make sure you have enough battery, about 60%

Step 1:

First download this file> ‘pop 2.3.6.zip

Step 2:

Copy the downloaded file to the root of your SD card. [You can copy it anywhere in the SD card but, it is easy to find it there]

Step 3:

Switch off your Phone.

Step 4: 

Press ‘Home + Power On‘ button at the same time until the phone starts in the Recovery Mode. (In recovery mode, the touch does not works, use Volume keys for up/down, Home key to select options & Power key for going back)

Step 5: 

In Recovery mode select ‘apply update from sdcard‘ from the Menu.

Step 6: 

Now select ‘pop 2.3.6.zip‘ from the SD card.

Step 7: 

Let the process complete.

Step 8: 

Select ‘reboot system now‘ option after the completion of setup

Step 9: 

After Reboot, check that ‘Superuser‘ application is installed or not. If yes, you successfully rooted your phone.

Error tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000/L/N no inicia

NO ME HAGO RESPONSABLE DE LA PERDIDA DE DATOS, AUNQUE LO MAS PROBABLE ES QUE LOS PIERDAS

QUITA LA MEMORIA SD(SI LA TIENE) 
QUITA LA TARJETA SIM(SI LA TIENE)


El problema



Si al encender tu tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000/L/N te aparece en la pantalla un telefono y un computador y entre ellos esta un triangulo amarillo con un signo de exclamacion:

Quiere decir que se ha dañado el sistema, en mi caso la pude recuperar, ya que ese mismo error, la tablet esta en Download Mode, sin necesidad de combinar teclas para que inicie en Download Mode


Requisitos

 

  1. Descargar Odin (yo use la version 3.07)
  2. Drivers para Windows de la tablet
  3. Descargar el archivo .pit
  4. Descargar P1000N o P1000L Android 2.3.3 ROM oficial y descomprimela a cualquier directorio, los links son de samsung-updates y no requiere registrarse, son ROMs NO modificadas

 

Como descubri la solucion?

 

La tablet cuando la conectaba con el conector de corriente de pared, inmediatamente aparecia dicha pantalla de error, en cambio si la conectaba con el cable usb al pc, tardaba alrededor de 20 minutos en aparecer el error y finalmente Windows la reconocia, BINGO!, esa es la buena noticia, que al ser reconocida en Windows puedes usar Odin y flashear una ROM


Antes de flashear



Intenta esto primero, ya que segun he leido en el foro xda, el problema se resuelve solo flasheando el archivo p1_add_hidden.pit, asi que sigue estos pasos:

Recalco tambien que la tablet debe estar bien cargada, por lo menos 60% o mas, aunque no es posible ver el porcentaje, creo que con cuatro horas de carga esta bien, cargar la tablet usando el adaptador de pared, no uses el USB para cargarlo ya que tardara mas en cargarse

OJO!
EL METODO DE SOLO FLASHEAR EL ARCHIVO .PIT NO LO INTENTE, ESTO ES EN CASO DE QUE NO QUIERAS POR ALGUNA RAZON PERDER DATOS IMPORTANTES DE LA TABLET

DE LO CONTRARIO SI NO TE IMPORTA PERDER LOS DATOS, ES MEJOR FLASHEAR UNA ROM OFICIAL

DURANTE EL PROCESO DE FLASHEO NO HAGAS NADA, NO LA DESCONECTES O 
SERA PEOR EL DAÑO 


Flashear solo el archivo .pit

 

  1. Ejecuta Odin como Administrador
  2. Conecta la tablet al PC/Laptop
  3. En Odin debe aparecerte en la parte superior izquierda, por ejemplo:
    ID:COM
    0:[COMxx]
    (xx es un numero cualquiera)
    aqui una imagen en Google
  4. Click en el boton: PIT y selecciona el archivo: p1_add_hidden.pit
  5. Desactiva la opcion: F. Reset Time
  6. Click en: Start
  7. Listo!!

A esperar si Android inicia, si no, tocara flashear una ROM oficial


Flasheo de ROM oficial

 

 

  1. Ejecuta Odin como Administrador
  2. Conecta la tablet al PC/Laptop

    aqui una imagen en Google
  4. Click en el boton: PIT y selecciona el archivo: p1_add_hidden.pit
  5. Click en el boton: PDA y selecciona la ROM que hayas descargado, un archivo con la extension .tar.md5
  6. Activa las opciones: Auto Reboot, Re-Partition y F. Reset Time
  7. Click en: Start y espera a que termine
  8. Listo!!


Tardara alrededor de 5 minutos, en mi caso, despues de flashearla se reinicio se auto "hard-reseteo" e inicio bien

Pero despues de iniciar me mostro un error que creo que decia algo como:

E: part (1) Boot Record Checksum Error
E: part (1) Checksum Error
Internal MMC checksum verify failed

Y ademas en Android me mostraba mensajes de error de X aplicacion, mas que nada del Google Services, flashee otra ROM pero siguio con el error, al final la deje asi
