Google to Drop Nexus in Favor of Pixel for Self-Brand Handsets

Google’s self-branded Nexus devices have been the go-to brand for purists that want the unadulterated Android experience for their handsets, or in other words, how the search engine giant deems it to be. That has been the case over the years of the brand name’s presence, and it’s easily the most recognized for what it’s supposed to be. Now, it seems Google is about to drop the Nexus moniker and switch to Pixel for its handsets.
