Sapir - December 7th Release

I corrected the network issue with the Galaxy Nexus release, and integrated recent changes from gerrit.

I will now only fix bugs until the merge to Android 4.2. Features development will wait for the merge.

Sapir - October 26th Release

Finally. It took some time, but I can now present the first Ubuntu-made Sapir build.

I'm aware of the many issues with the layout of the tablet mode - at least in higher DPIs, and I'm working through them. However, I didn't want to leave you guys without the upgrade to 4.1.2 and other bug fixes, so I'm releasing the 4.1.2 update with no Sapir specific changes.

Sapir - October 8th Release

The new release features mostly Tablet Mode.
As this is not a copy of the regular tablet mode, it should be available in any DPI you set - but you can be it won't look good if you don't have enough space :)

As I wrote in my previous post, tablet mode is not perfect yet. For example, you won't see the battery. You can get around this by using a widget or even the lockscreen. I'm now using Tablet Mode on all my devices.

Sapir - October 2nd Release

What is going on in here?
I've got the following things lined up:

Remove the reboot requirement for Navigation Bar enable / disable - this helps with some games and has been requested a lot
Integrate Tablet Mode - Currently causes a lot of merge issues
Individual DPI - Still in design
Transparency Toggle for Status Bar - Looking for a solution

While I'm working on this things, however, there are a lot of changes coming in from CM, and I don't want you guys to miss out on them, which is why the list above takes some time to implement.

When things get a bit more stable on the CM front, though, the proprietary Sapir features (as well as merges) will pick up pace as well.

So, for now, with the links on the right side as usual, here is the updated changelog:

Sapir - September 20th

I had a heck of a time uploading this time - not sure why.

The major changes:

Reverted Galaxy Tab 7" kernel to CM.
Completely removed statistics collection from CM.

Specifically, I'd like to hear about the Tab stability, if possible.

New Build

New builds are coming out.
I've started uploading them to goo, and will soon update the threads.

Not too much changed in the new builds. Most changes are from the gerrit.
Today I moved the non official kernels outside of the build tree, to better control the timing of the updates. This goes for both franco for the Google Galaxy Nexus and well as for humberos for the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

As told, I'm still concentrating on "internal" changes - stabilising and enhancing performance.
The latest build, by the way, was the first to feature all three navigation bar changes:

Enable / Disable navigation bar.
Customise navigation bars buttons (M)
Left navigation bar when in landscape

Look to the sidebar for the releases themselves.

Sapir - September 18th build

Sapir is based on CM10.
Apart from being based on the official repositories, it has both cherrypicks and other features, such as the DPI Changer.

Stay Tuned:

Flux Mode: User can set three things: launcher DPI, other apps DPI and inidividual apps DPI. Please comment in XDA on this.
Tablet Mode: Merge of the sgt7 feature - combined bar displaying both navigation buttons and status.
