'Pixels' Trailer Hidden Easter Egg

'Pixels' Trailer Hidden Easter Egg

For those that missed it, there was a very brief image displayed in the trailer for Pixels, by Sony Pictures. Around the 1:38 marker of the trailer the following image was displayed:

It shows a website called DojoQuest.com where you can unlock a character, from what looks like a character of the movie, Lady Lisa. After visiting the site it displays an image of an arcade cabinet from the controls up with a Game Trailer video in the monitor. This is a trailer for a game called Dojo Quest that is now available on the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores. Go check it out. It's level design reminds me of some of the older Nintendo and even Atari type games. I will eventually update this article with my thoughts of the game after.

Review: Transformers Age of Extinction

The herprisinglySurprisinglyurodesexple Arlington Road...I should have known better.

First let me say that I'm a movie buff, for the most part I enjoy all movies no matter how terrible.  There is a unique artistic quality to each and every movie that makes them very unique.  That being said I like the Transformer movies all of them....to a point.  Transformers: Age of Extinction is no different.

The new Batsuit, Awesome or Awful?

The hype surrounding the new Batman/Superman movie is building and a new slew of pictures has arrived. Amongst them is a dark and shadowy look at Ben Affleck in the new Batsuit. Now the discussion about whether or not he will make a good Batman is going to be reserved for another time. The main point is the suit itself. I have spent some time studying the new suit in different versions of the picture and comparing it to different suits from the comics. The closest version of the suit in the comics is from the Frank Miller Dark Knight comic series. His version of the suit has the most similarities with the one in the Batfleck (yes even I am prey to the popular name scrunching epidemic that we have right now). The two biggest things that are the same are the large and splashy bat symbol on the front of the suit. It looks like it is reaching for the sides and as far as it can go. I bet that it will look especially good when he is gliding around with his cape. The second similarity is the short ears on the cowl. There are a lot of mixed feelings about this particular aspect that stem from as far back at the comic. A large number of the fans did not like the short ears saying that they looked more like cat ears than bat ears. Personally I like the shorter ears with this particular suit. Let me explain, the suit itself looks more supple and flexible. It is very different from the mechanical suit that Christian Bale wore in the Dark Knight movies. This one looks more like what he wears in the comics, a heavy duty body suit and I think that the shorter ears work with it. They won't get in the way during a fight and are too small for a bad guy to grab onto and yank. Until we see more of Batfleck I am putting my stamp of approval on the suit.

Review: My Thoughts On The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) Movie

As far back as I can remember the four mutant turtles, who were raised and trained in Ninjutsu by a mutated rat, have stayed at the very top of my memories today. Everytime I order a pizza, I want to order it with the most outrageous and ridiculous toppings known to man. When I see a skateboard, I want to jump on it and yell Cowabunga. When I watch the news I think of April O'Neil wearing her yellow tights and jacket. If there is a rat on the loose..well actually I will call pest control about it. You get my drift. I even remember how they had an PSA (Public Safety Announcement for those who are too young to know what PSA meant) about how leaving the water running while brushing your teeth can waste up to 5 gallons of water. Those turtles are the ones I remember. Read more »
