Instalar y activar Windows 8.1 con el serial original de Windows 8

ATENCION!!
Este metodo es solo para activar una licencia ORIGINAL de Windows 8 en Windows 8.1

Problema

Con la salida de Windows 8.1 se presento un problema, que no es posible instalar de cero el Windows 8.1 con el serial de Windows 8


Tanto el Windows 8 como el Windows 8.1 DEBEN ser la misma version, obviamente NO se puede activar 8.1 Pro con el serial del 8 Single Language

Este es un metodo LEGAL

Solucion

Para poder usar el serial del Windows 8 en Windows 8.1, basta con instalar el 8.1 usando un serial de instalacion, aqui los seriales:

Episode 32: Technical Difficulties and No Show

For those of you that are subscribed to our show and can't contain yourselves awaiting the next episode, I regret to inform you that this weeks episode titled "Episode 032: Star Wars The Force Awakens" has been lost due to technical/computer related difficulties. Usually LeRoy (our Co-Host/Producer/Technical Engineer/Audio Engineer/Web Designer/Editor/IT Guy/anything Geeks Amok Job related) has done a great job with Recording, Saving, Editing and uploading our episodes, but once in a while shit happens out of your control. We may create a post with our thoughts from the show so you can have a general idea of what was discussed, but knowing our hosts/co-hosts it won't happen.

During the show we talked about a Special Podcast we are recording next week. The Geeks Amok Cast is being joined by The KrayzKast (Kasper and Morgon) along with 3 fans of the show (Deb, Chris and Scott - you all know who you are and we are not putting last names unless asked too). We may release it as next weeks episode or as a Holiday Special or Bonus show. The event is called The official Geeks Amok Podcast Super Ethical Power Hour Team Plus Go Event. Android Stock ROMs para telefonos BLU

OJO!
No garantizo la funcionabilidad de estas ROMs, hazlo bajo tu propia responsabilidad

Si estas teniendo problemas como:

• Se queda en el logo de BLU o Android
• Se cuelga
• Se reinicia
• Errores de aplicaciones

Quizas sea un problema de hardware pero antes de flashear una ROM, intenta hacerle un hard reset al telefono, en la comunidad Blu en G+, Victor Garcia ha recolectado en un archivo .zip, guias de hard reset de varios telefonos BLU

Si despues de hacerle un hard reset, persiste el problema, entonces flashea una Stock ROM

Una Stock ROM es el sistema Android del telefono pero sin modificaciones, una ROM de fabrica

Saber el modelo del telefono Blu

Asegurate de saber cual ROM es para tu telefono, pueden existir varios modelos de un telefono, para saber el modelo exacto del telefono:

1. Apaga el telefono
2. Extrae la bateria
3. Y debajo de la bateria debe aparecerte el modelo [imagen de un Studio 5.0 II D532u] donde dice: Part No.:

NOTA MUY IMPORTANTE!

Tengan cuidado con los telefonos basados en el chip MT6571, tales como:

D140K/D142K/D140T

El flasheo es distinto y no se exactamente en que se diferencia, asi que por favor LEAN, consulten en foros para saber que hay que hacer, yo por los moemntos no he flasheado ninguno con el SoC MT6571

Guia de flasheos segun el chip SoC del telefono

Chip del telefono	Requisito	Guia de flasheo

Que hacer en caso de que la ROM no cumple el requisito?

Si la ROM no cumple el requisito, entonces debe ser una copia de seguridad de algun recovery como, ClockWorkMod (CWM), TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP), en este caso es necesario tener instalado el recovery para poder instalar la ROM, estas ROMs normalmente viene modificadas, pueden venir rooteadas o con otro tipo de modificacion que no la hace ROM de fabrica/stock

Instrucciones para actualizar

Esta guia de actualizacion es una traduccion de este post (link borrado) de Victor en la Comunidad BLU en G+

Tambien quiero recalcar que esta guia es para telefonos nuevos, del 2014 en adelante, ya que se usa el SP Flash Tool version 5

Requisitos

1. IMPORTANTE! El dispositivo no debe estar rooteado
2. Descargar y extraer SP Flash Tool v5
3. Descargar driver, no lo instalen todavia
4. Descargar ROM y extraer

Actualizar firmware

Recomiendo hacerle un hard reset al telefono antes de actualizarlo, recuerda respaldar lo que tengas en el telefono

Si no quieres o no puedes hacerle hard reset al telefono, recuerda que el telefono no debe estar rooteado

Aqui encontraras un zip con tutoriales de distintos telefonos BLU para hacerle hard reset al telefono, si tu telefono no esta en la lista, puedes intentar con el adb pero el telefono debe iniciar normalmente,  esta guia la hice para hacerle un hard reset a dispositivos Android con el adb (Android Debug Bridge)

1. Desinstalar todo driver de BLU que tengas instalado
2. Apagar pc o laptop
3. Encender de nuevo y antes de que cargue Windows presionar la tecla F8 repetidamente, OJO!!! este metodo solo funciona en Windows XP, Vista y 7, en Windows 8 es distinto, aqui una guia/critica a Windows 8 y como mostrar el menu de arranque, leete especificamente la Opcion 2
4. Te aparecera el menu: Opciones de arranque, con fondo negro y letras blancas
5. Seleccionar la opcion: Deshabilitar el uso obligatorio de controladores firmados
6. Instalar el driver
   
7. Ejecutar como administrador: flash_tool.exe
8. Click en: Scatter-loading
9. Dirigete a la carpeta del ROM extraido
10. Selecciona el unico archivo .txt
11. Debajo del Scatter-loading File, hay un combo de seleccion, cambialo de Download Only a Firmware Upgrade
12. Click en: Download
13. Extrae la bateria del telefono e insertala de nuevo (asegurate de que el telefono no encienda) si el telefono no tiene bateria extraible solo apagalo
14. Conecta el cable USB al pc o laptop y al telefono
15. Apenas al insertarlo el SP Flash Tool  deberia estar instalando el firmware
16. Espera a que te muestre una marca verde que indica que todo salio bien
17. Listo!!!

Review: OnePlus One Smartphone

OnePlus has a motto, "Never Settle", that is a represtation of the company's goal to build a perfect smartphone that everyone can purchase it for less than the name brands are selling for off contract. If the LG G3, Google Nexus 5 or the Samsung Galaxy S5 (forget Apple, they are always outdated) were priced at $299 to buy outright, off contract and unlocked, would you consider purchasing it instead of signing a 2 year contract or paying $29 a month for 18 - 24 months? I would. Unfortunately the off contract price of these high end phones are the cost of a decent PC these days. OnePlus is changing that and is offering the same technology for half the price of it's competitors. Their first phone, called the One for obvious reasons, is a self proclaimed 2014's Flagship Killer. Believe me when I say this, it is!

Instalar mapas en un GPS Garmin o memoria SD con y sin Basecamp

Requisitos

1. Descargar Basecamp
2. Descargar el mapa segun el pais
3. GPS Garmin (opcional)
4. Cable USB cinco pines IMAGEN (opcional)

Tambien se puede instalar el o los mapas en una memoria SD, sin necesidad de tener el GPS

Opcion 1: OpenStreetMap

Desde OpenStreetMap puedes descargarte el mapa que quieras, totalmente gratuito

Para descargar un mapa de OpenStreetMap sigue estos pasos:

1. En: Choose your map type, selecciona el tipo de mapa que quieras, por defecto esta seleccionado: Generic Routable
2. En: Include a TYP file (Optional), dejalo en: None
3. En: Choose a preferred country, selecciona el contienete y luego el pais
4. En: Perhaps you'd like to add additiona tiles? dejalo como esta
5. En: Request your map or download it directly, te aparecera, el link de descarga o un cuadro de texto solicitando un correo electronico donde te llegara el link de descarga

Seleccionar continente y pais

Como puedes ver en la imagen, aparece abajo el link de descarga(en este caso), ya que quizas te pida un correo electronico, donde enviaran el link de descarga, el link de descarga que te envian al correo tiene un duracion, si no me quivoco de 24 horas, pasadas las 24 horas el link desaparecera

En el link te aparecera algo como esto:

• En la carpeta: metadata, hay informacion acerca del mapa
• osm_generic_windows.exe, es el archivo de instalacion del mapa para Windows
• osm_generic_tiles.zip, es para Linux
• osm_generic_macosx.zip, es para Mac OSX
• osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip, dentro de este archivo .zip esta el mapa comprimido en un archivo .img, este es otro metodo de instalacion del mapa, directamente puedes colocar este archivo .img dentro de la tarjeta de memoria SD o GPS

Opcion 2: OpenMapChest

OpenMapChest es otra pagina donde te puedes decargar mapas gratuitos, pero en este caso, hasta el dia de hoy creado este post, te descargas el mapa pero por continentes, por ejemplo, si quieres descargar el mapa de Argentina, te descargaras el mapa de Sur America completo

Para descargar mapas hay dos opciones

• Descargar el mapa usando un cliente BitTorrent, recomiendo qBittorrent  
• Descargar el mapa con un link directo, pero debes registrarte en la pagina

Instalar el mapa

Ejecuta el archivo: osm_generic_windows.exe y sigue las instrucciones

OpenMapChest

Tambien tiene dos opciones de descarga

1. Mapa para guardar en la memoria SD
2. Mapa para instalar con MapSource de Garmin, MapSource esta obsoleto, no recibe actualizaciones de 2010, aunque eso no importa mucho, lo importante es instalar el mapa actualizado, en todo caso es mejor la opcion de descarga del mapa para la memoria SD

Instalar el Basecamp

Este paso es solo para mapas de OpenStreetMap

Instalar el Basecamp tambien es sencillo, solo sigue las intrucciones del instalador y listo

Instalar el mapa en el GPS Garmin con Basecamp

ATENCION!!

Teniendo instalado el Basecamp y el mapa, procedemos a instalarlo en el GPS o memoria SD, usando el Basecamp

• Conectar el GPS al PC usando el cable cinco pines IMAGEN o introduce una memoria SD
• Ejecutar el Basecamp

Basecamp

• En el panel izquierdo, puedes ver que aparece un dispositivo Garmin (Z:), en realidad es una tarjeta SD de 4GB, cuando conectas el GPS, te aperecera en el panel izquierdo, la memoria interna del GPS (y si tiene tambien una memoria SD dentro del GPS, tambien aparecera), y este procedimiento es el mismo tanto para una memoria SD o GPS
• En el panel izquierdo, selecciona donde quieres instalar el mapa, ya sea, en la memoria SD o en el GPS
• Click derecho y selecciona: Instalar mapas en [NOMBRE MEMORIA] (LETRA)

Instalar mapas en la memoria SD o GPS

•  Mostrara esta ventana

MapInstall

• Click en: Continuar

Seleccionar mapa

• Selecciona el mapa que quieras instalar de la lista que esta abajo, tambien puedes seleccionar ciudades, haciendo click en el boton: Buscar una ciudad...
• Para instalar el mapa, debes seleccionarlo primero, dos imagenes de ejemplo: (leer imagenes)

• Al soltar el boton del mouse, quedara asi:

• Opcionalmente si deseas instalar mas de un mapa, escoje el siguiente mapa de la lista de abajo, selecciona todo el mapa y asi sucesivamente con todos los mapas que quieras instalar, eso si, recuerda tener espacio en la memoria donde lo va a instalar
• Click en: Continuar
• Te aparecera la siguiente ventana, donde te mostrara, que mapa o mapas se van a instalar

• Click en: Instalar
• Y espera a que se instale o instalen los mapas, mientras mas pesado el mapa mas se tardara

Finalizar instalacion del mapa o mapas

• Click en: Finalizar
• Listo!!

Instalar mapas directamente en el GPS o memoria SD

En vez de descargarte el instalador ejecutable del mapa, te descargas el archivo de imagen con la extension .img, la diferencia entre esta opcion y la del Basecamp es que el Basecamp compila los mapas seleccionados y los guarda en un archivo unico .img
Una desventaja que tiene el GPS es que para copiar mapas grandes de mas de 1GB en la memoria interna del GPS o en una memoria SD que este insertada en el GPS, puede llevar mucho tiempo, para darte un ejemplo, el copiado al GPS(ya sea a la memoria interna o SD insertada en el GPS) puede tener una tasa de velocidad de 400KB/s, si copias un archivo de 1GB puede tardar mas de 40 minutos en copiarse

La solucion a esto es un lector de memoria SD

O si tienes una laptop con lector integrado tambien puede servir

Si copias los archivos de mapas .img directamente a la memoria SD usando un lector, la copia sera muchisimo mas rapida, la tasa, dependiendo de la marca, capacidad, etc... seria de entre 5MB/s a 10MB/s, una diferencia muy grande, mas de diez veces en comparacion a la copia directa al GPS

Copiar archivos .img

Para instalar directamente un archvo .img a una memoria SD es muy sencillo, sigue estos pasos

• Inserta memoria SD en tu PC o laptop
• Dirigete a la memoria SD
• Crea una carpeta llamada: Garmin
• Dentro de esa carpeta puedes copiar los archivos .img ***
• Inserta la memoria SD en el GPS
• GPS viejo te diriges a: Herramienta -> Configuraciones -> Mapa -> Info de mapa o Acerca del mapa
• GPS nuevo te diriges a: Configuracion -> Mapa y vehiculo -> Baja hasta donde dice: misMapas
• Alli deberias de ver el/los mapas instalados
• Listo!!

*** IMPORTANTE



En algunos GPS permiten tener varios archivos .img, ya sea en la memoria interna del GPS o en la memoria SD, tendrias que actualizar el firmware del GPS ya que en algunos casos resuelven problemas como estos de no tener varios archivos .img, con WebUpdater puedes actualizar el firmware del GPS

Si por alguna razon no te detecta varios mapas .img, puedes copiar los archivos con estos nombres, a ver si los detecta

• gmapprom.img (este nombre nomalmente es del mapa que viene por defecto en el GPS)
• gmapsupp.img (y este y los otros nombres son suplementarios)
• gmapsupp1.img
• gmapsup1.img
• gmapsupp2.img
• gmapsup2.img

Luego de cambiar el nombre, inserta la memoria SD y mirate si los detecta, estoy seguro que si, sino, recuerda actualizar el firmware del GPS, averigua en internet las limitaciones del GPS o el mismo firmware

Por ultimo te puedo decir que se puede compilar varios archivos .img en un sol oarchivo .img, usando el programa GMapTool, programa gratuito y facil de usar y RECUERDA que los GPS y las memorias SD usan el sistema de archivo FAT32 que tiene una limitacion de 4GB por archivo, asi que no puedes crear un archivo .img de 4GB porque no te dejara copiarlo
